"This nest came into focus after numerous intense months of my journey with Nicole. In her gentle and loving way, she reassuringly led me through the wounds of my past like a mother bird slowly but surely builds a nest for her young. Becoming stronger and more secure with each delicate and precisely intended weave of the therapist, the darkness begins to fade, and the light reveals the children within: My sweet little Fiona, my keen adolescent Fi, and my rapidly evolving adult Fiona. The three inner selves are ever connected, hurting and healing, together. My therapy work continues to be here: learning to maintain the nest for myself and reveal and heal the essence of me."
